Palazzo De Meis
This imposing building, the result of the town’s reconstruction following the earthquake of 1706, is one of the most important architectural works of Rocca Pia. It belonged to the noble De Meis family and was the birthplace of the poet Vincenzo De Meis (1883-1975).

The building, located in front of the clock tower, was built in the 16th century and has undergone several restorations over the centuries.

The building, dating from the 17th century, still retains an important part of the original structure, except for the the central section where there was a private church dedicated to San Gaetano, which was destroyed by an explosion during World War II.
